When you work with me, you can relax into the birthing process, trusting that you have a guide and advocate at your side to assist with education, decision-making, and informational support. I help you access your innate knowledge about what is best for you and your baby. I also have a network of pregnancy and baby support providers that I share with clients so that they have continuous, individualized care. I am evidence-based, current with research, and provide trauma-informed care.
During pregnancy, I provide targeted movement and exercises to assist in making space for your baby, to help you reach your birth goals. During labor I use directed movement depending on your stage of labor to assist baby’s decent and rotation for an easier labor. I am trained and experienced with Pelvic Biodynamics to help you and your baby work together more efficiently. My hands on massage, acupressure, reiki and comforting touch ease both mind and body through the waves of labor.
During pregnancy, we build your pain coping toolkit by focusing on your personal relaxation skills. I guide you and your partner through breathwork and mindfulness techniques that anchor you in a relaxed state so that discomfort is eased. Building upon this breathwork, mindfulness and movement, we create a deeper connection with your body and your baby. We spend time discussing any concerns you have about pregnancy, labor or becoming parents so you feel supported and empowered. Postpartum, I provide birth story listening to assist in your transition to parenthood.
